The Colorado Wine Room is located approximately 20 miles from the Utah border, behind the Fruita Visitor Welcome Center, and features over 20 of Colorado's best wines. Come in and enjoy a taste or a glass, buy a bottle or, for a 10-percent discount, purchase a case of your favorite wine or a mixed case to share with friends and family. Enjoy browsing through our gift shop that includes wine tools and accessories, cookbooks, linens from France, Italian pottery, and olivewood kitchen and service accessories. You’ll also find Riedel stemware, decanters, and unique Wine Country gift items celebrating wine, health, and the pursuit of the good life. Finally, don’t miss our special events including Wine Tasting 101, Wine and Cheese, and wine and hors d'hoeuvres.

Pouring the Perfect Glass At the Colorado Wine Room, we use state-of-the-art wine dispensing equipment to ensure proper temperature and near-perfect preservation of the wine's flavor and character. Normally, when a bottle of wine is opened and poured, oxygen comes into contact with the wine and begins to oxidize – or age – the wine much more rapidly than it does in the corked, airtight environment. Wines even a few hours old can taste completely different if they are not properly and completely preserved from the moment it's uncorked. The Colorado Wine Room’s equipment protects the wine from oxidization by using pure nitrogen gas to displace and dispense the wine out of our sample valves. So when you taste wine in our facility, it will likely taste much as it would if you had just opened the bottle in your home for the very first time.
